Join us at Avoncroft Museum the ‘new home’ of the International Living History Festival for an unforgettable family day out or make a weekend of it giving yourselves plenty of time to explore both the 19-acre site and our historic buildings, which will be brought to life with re-enactors from the Bronze Age to the Cold War.

The Glastonbury Abbey Medieval Fayre returns to the grounds of Glastonbury Abbey over the fourth weekend of April, 2023. Once again we are offering day tickets and full weekend tickets with the 2023 Medieval Fayre looking to be the biggest one yet.
The country's only full contact battle reenactment through the streets of the town at various points on the High Street, from The Gallops to Lewes Castle, and Lewes Priory where we witness the final surrender of Henry III to Simon de Montfort.

Barnet Medieval Festival is dedicated to engaging people in the history of the Battle of Barnet and its significance within the Wars of the Roses.
Go back in time and get closer to the action as rival knights compete in the ultimate test of strength and skill at the Bolsover Castle Knights’ Tournament. Swords will clash and the winner will be decided in the Grand Melee finale.
We are running day long sessions for Calligraphy and Illumination at the fabulous location of the Ancient Technology Centre in Dorset.

Over the anniversary week of the Battle of Shrewsbury, we travel back to medieval Shropshire to see the sights and sounds of every life leading up to the battle.
During this great family day out you will get to see knights in armour and archers preparing for battle, living history including traditional crafts and cookery. With many activities to try your hand at throughout the day and many skills that can be used today.
Join us at Valhalla Viking Festival every year in the last weekend of July to view Viking battles, take part in workshops and activities, be entertained by traditional performers, shop weird and wonderful creations from our traders' village and so much more at what we hope to be an interactive, immersive experience for all ages. We look forward to meeting you over a horn full of mead!

England’s Medieval Festival 2023 welcomes visitors from all over the United Kingdom, Europe, and around the world to attend the most Spectacular and Memorable Celebration of the colourful Middle Ages on the August Bank Weekend (26, 27 & 28 August 2023) at The King’s Grove, Pippingford, East Sussex.

Nestling in the water meadows alongside the River Itchen and in the shadow of St Catherine’s Hill lies the ancient Hospital of St Cross. Renowned for the tranquility of its setting and the beauty of its architecture, the Hospital is one of England’s oldest continuing almshouses. The Hospital of St Cross' annual Michaelmas Fair will take place on Saturday 30th September from 10.30am to 4.30pm. There will be 35+ stalls of all varieties from Arts & Crafts to Food & Drink.
